Transitions commence new adventures. Make 'em last…
Getting 18th place (11th in Gyeonggi-do) out of over 150 school projects surely isn’t bad in my book. Although the project didn’t make the national calendar, Seoul Milk will be sending a 300,000won ($280) check to my school to help fund more art projects. Whoo-hoo!
This art project was super time-consuming, yet it was really fun and I’m content with the result. The hard work has paid off, not only in cash, but also in creative growth for me, and for the students that intermittently provided assistance.
A colleague recently asked me, “Will you do this again next year?”
I said, “Sure thing. BRING IT ON!”
I’m definitely ready for next year’s project contest. I’ll first begin by preparing milk cartons early on and hopefully be able to recruit more dedicated student assistants with a heart for art. Bring it on!
